This site is unofficial and not affiliated with GitHub.

Rankings use data from the GitHub GraphQL API and our ingest pipeline. Optional integrations may include OSS Insight (star history) and Product Hunt (launch signals). Results reflect indexed repositories only, not all of GitHub.

Favorites (local storage)

Saved repositories are stored only in your current browser via localStorage. They are not tied to a GitHub account and are not synced across devices. Clearing site data or using another browser starts with an empty list.

Product Hunt signals

When configured, we ingest recent launches from Product Hunt and link them to indexed GitHub repositories. Orange PH badges show vote count and launch date and open the original post on producthunt.com. Data is attributed per Product Hunt API terms.

Ranking rules

• Velocity: absolute stars gained in the selected period.
• Early Signal: total stars < 5k and top 20% relative growth per language.
• Default exclusions: Awesome lists and repos with 0 commits in 30 days.
• Health: green ≥5 commits, yellow 1–4, red 0 (30d).
